Job Summary
The Senior Analyst for HR Systems ("Senior Analyst"), under general supervision, develops, implements, and maintains human resources systems (HRS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility, and usage of employee information for Human Resources department planning and activities.

The Senior Analyst supports the management and optimization of HR Systems. This includes Business process design, configuration, testing, reporting, training, and ongoing system development and post implementation support of Workday. The Senior Analyst assists with transformative projects across HR to reduce complexity, innovate on new capabilities and improve the employee/manager experience.

The Senior Analyst collaborates with key stakeholders within HR to foster productive working relationships, understand business needs, and identifies and solutions system and process optimization.

Essential Functions:
  • Strategy and Planning
    Assist in developing the HR technology strategy and vision to automate processes and simplify complex data. Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy. Delivers best HRIS practices to improve organizational effectiveness and performance. (25%)
  • HR System Readiness and Testing
    Creates complex test case scenarios to be used in testing; monitors/oversees the testing of business applications to verify that all requirements are incorporated into the system design. Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify production readiness. (20%)
  • Processing
    Liaises with payroll and other HR Departments to research and resolve employee concerns (15%)
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
    Design and generate standard and ad-hoc reports to support management in the areas of workforce analytics as well as required compliance reporting. (30%)
  • Staff Oversight
    Mentors and supports the work of junior analysts and builds continuity of service through partnership and coaching. (10%)

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Work Experience:
  • 4-6 years related experience Required
  • 3 years of experience implementing and or supporting Workday in an Analyst role

  • Problem solving - the ability to systematically analyze problems, draw relevant conclusions and devise appropriate courses of action.
