Senior HR Advisor, Global HR Advisor, CIPD, MCIPD, Global Experience Required, 6 months FTC initially, Remote
Senior HR Advisor required to work for a Global organisation based in Europe. However, this is a remote role with some European travel (expenses paid) involved. We need someone who understands people, culture and Employment Law from Belgium and the Netherlands.
This is a big role that is quite urgent and will be an initial 6 month FTC position that is likely to transition into something more permanent. This would be determined by the impact you make and the influence you have on the overall HR strategy. Read on for more details…
The Senior People & Culture Advisor (Global) will be a key member of the HR team, providing guidance and support to business leaders across the organisation. The successful candidate will have extensive HR experience, with a focus on partnering with business leaders to drive organisational effectiveness and change management. Strong modern project management and analytical skills are required, as is the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
Performance and progress in the following areas are the priorities for this position:
Generalist HR
- Providing HR support across all areas of the company, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Providing advice to the business on Global HR best practices and regulations.
- Delivering strong communication and problem-solving skills working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Communications and Change Management
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior staff members.
- A proven track record of building organisational effectiveness and supporting cultural change.
- Excellent collaboration skills within Global HR teams to develop and implement Global HR initiatives that support overall company objectives.
Operational HR Management
- Developing and implementing training and development programs to support the growth and development of employees at all levels of the organisation.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives and making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
Driving a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement within the HR function and across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications required (e.g. University HR degree), and company aligned qualifications in one or more of the following:
o Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
o Learning and Development
o Industrial and Employee Relations
o Modern ways of working (i.e., Agile, Lean)
Experience & Skills
- At least 5 years of HR experience, with a focus on planning, leadership, and project management. Experience in a Global organisation is preferred.
- A deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the organisation's Global strategy and culture.
- Knowledge of HR technology and systems, with the ability to use HR data to support decision-making and analysis.
- Understanding of cross-cultural differences and the ability to navigate complex Global HR issues, such as expatriate management, diversity and inclusion, and Global mobility.
