Our client is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. You will build and maintain credible relationships across the business and actively contribute to the strategic development and initiatives across multiple sites.
The role is office-based Monday to Friday with the opportunity to work from home occasionally at the managers discretion.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide generalist HR support to employees and business managers
- Advise and guide managers on all people related matters such as performance, absence, probation, disciplinary and grievance and family leave
- Provide first line support to all HR queries and update the database accordingly
- Support on wider HR projects
- Update and maintain all Company policies and procedures
- Assist with HR administration of letter templates, references, leavers etc…
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of staff, including maintaining data records
- Assist in collating information for payroll of new starters, leavers, and salary changes, submitting to the HR Business Partner to review.
- Manage the recruitment, induction and onboarding process up to Senior Management level
- Actively work closely with the HRM to identify and deliver employee wellbeing programmes ensuring the company meets its statutory obligations
- Manage and investigate employee relations across the business, identify and propose any required actions such as coaching, training initiatives, policy review etc.
- To undertake investigations and hearings as required, including note taking, administration and liaison with external agencies as required e.g. lawyers, union Representatives, ACAS, Employment Tribunals etc.
With your strong generalist experience and your experience in casework, you must be confident in working within a fast-paced environment and be agile in decision making to be successful.
