Acorn Support is an established and growing HR business support consultancy based in the heart of the Black Country in the West Midlands.
We are currently seeking a CIPD qualified HR professional to join our friendly team. We go out and about to support businesses throughout the West Midlands and the UK with their people functions. This is a role that would suit an individual who thrives on variety and enjoys learning about different market verticals and the challenges that lie within. The position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work with different businesses and companies across sectors. For this reason, the successful candidate will need to have their own transport and full driving licence and be prepared to travel as well as spend time at the business HQ in Cradley.
As the requirements of our clients span a wide range of HR, people and strategy issues, we are looking for an experienced generalist who is competent in handling compliance, employee management, and training. You will be equally at home dealing with policy and procedure, workforce planning, employment legislation and compliance, or transformational change and strategic work, and take a coaching approach to your delivery.
We are looking for a competent HR Consultant, HR Advisor, or HR Business Partner who would like to use their previous experience to help guide and shape the businesses of clients without an external HR presence, or who require some additional coaching and assistance. The advantage of working as a consultant, is that we are very much invited in as a solution to the business.
As you can imagine, the very nature of our business demands an HR professional with extensive experience across a variety of HR topics that range from transactional work through to strategic projects and people development. If you are a solutions focused person who likes to see the change and results from their input, this could be the perfect role for you.
We are looking ideally for somebody who can work full time 37.5 hours per week although we will consider applications from those seeking a part time appointment.
The starting salary is £29K - £31K with fully expensed travel. Salary will be reviewed after probation, and again at regular intervals, with a view to increase to £35K within a 2-year window. A new benefits package is being created that will include pension, additional holidays, private healthcare, gym membership subsidies, and the option to work from home one day a week.
