Are you looking for a varied and fast paced HR Consultancy role? advo has an exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join the team on a fixed term contract of 14 months from May 2023, there is potential for a full time role at the end of the contract subject to business growth. This role is based in Maidstone Kent. This is an office based role but there is the flexibility to work from home on a regular basis, following training. The role primarily supports SME clients based in London and the South East. The successful candidate will be dynamic and passionate about providing people focused solutions and pragmatic advice.
You require a strong background in HR & CIPD level 5 or equivalent or relevant work experience to manage a portfolio of clients receiving outsourced HR support. This is a permanent full time position with a competitive salary of £33,000 - £38,000 per annum DOE, along with company car allowance, quartlery onus scheme, commission and competitive benefits package.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is knowledegable and pro-active and wants to develop their career in HR by broadening their experience with a variety of clients. The duties of an HR Advisor include:
Be a dedicated contact and provide pragmatic advice to a portfolio of clients
Handle HR Helpline queries in all areas of general HR
Review or create Employee contracts and handbooks
Provide general Employment Law advice, compliant HR guidance and legislation updates
Complete annual reports including HR usage and recommendations
Conduct on-site client visits to deliver on projects, annual reviews, employee relation issues or training
Maintain healthy long-lasting client relationships
Provide recruitment support to clients engaging in our recruitment service
Expand and develop the current advo client base through allocated new business towards a set target
Work with advo's Employee Benefits and Payroll teams to meet the needs of multi-service clients and to open potential opportunities for cross sales
Skills
Expert technical HR knowledge essential
In-house and/or outsourced HR experience essential
Confidentiality and discretion essential
High level of interpersonal & communication skills
High Level of Planning, prioritisation and organisation skills essential
Qualifications
Further education (diploma/degree advantageous)
Level 5 CIPD or equivalent, ideally working towards Level 7 and / or relevant work experience.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in HR
