JOB TITLE: HR Advisor
REPORTING TO: HR Business Partner
LOCATION: Hybrid Working – Office Location: London Bridge, SE1 1NH
CONTRACT: Full Time Permanent
HOURS: 40 Hours

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
This role is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their HR career. You need to be keen to learn and develop your skills and knowledge, especially within employee relations, as well as having a desire to develop as a professional HR expert. A basic to good level understanding of HR and people processes is essential with a desire to build on this. You will be part of a small, high performing team and working in a fast-paced environment supporting a busy, operationally driven business. Providing timely advice on employee relations matters, such as flexible working, probationary, unauthorised absence, disciplinary, welfare and absence management in line with company policies and ACAS best practise. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in ad-hoc projects, and work with the wider HR team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a point of contact for managers on employee relations matters
- Log and update employee relations cases for reporting purposes
- Ensure employee relations matters are handled fairly and consistently in line with ACAS best practise, company policy, and legal requirements
- Support the team with training delivery on employee relations subjects to operational managers
- Support operational managers with note taking during employee relations meetings where required
- Work closely with your colleagues to drive and deliver on the HR teams goals and objectives
- Work in partnership with the operational team to support and drive new HR related initiatives and continuous improvement through ad-hoc projects
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience within a HR role
- Experience working in facilities management, hospitality, or retail preferable
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- A strong work ethic
- A willingness to learn and develop
- Able to prioritise effectively
- A keen eye for detail
- Good English language, both written and spoken
