Salary: £24,300 - £30,600 depending on experience

Contract: Fixed Term, Full and part time considered, initially up to 12 months

About the role
We are looking for a number of HR Advisors to join our well-respected business partnering team.
As an integral member of the HR team you will be providing a professional and comprehensive HR service, ensuring that our customers receive seamless HR partnering support.
This will involve a wide range of operational activities across recruitment, performance management, reward and benefits, employee engagement, talent development, succession planning and employee relations, and project support.
You will work collaboratively and proactively with line managers to facilitate positive employee engagement by being the trusted source of expert advice on HR matters including contract variations through to flexible working, maternity and paternity and more.
We will also endeavour to support your self-development, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment law, best practice and company policy to help maintain the effectiveness of HR service delivery across Cambridge University Press and Assessment.
About you
You will have some demonstrable HR Generalist experience working at a first line advisory level across a varied range of HR topics as well as:
- A HR related qualification, working towards OR relevant experience
- Confident user of MS Packages and Information systems, preferably Workday but not essential as full training can be provided.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
- Confidence in providing professional and pragmatic advice to managers
