Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Advanced Manufacturing Group’s HR team.
We are looking for a hard-working individual to support the team as a HR Administrator. In this varied and dynamic role you will mainly focus on supporting the recruitment life cycle but will also have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of our AMG People Strategy.

As a team, we work closely with the central University HR team to offer a full range of transactional HR activity to the AMG. The AMG consists of three centres; the Advanced Manufacturing Research Group (AMRC), the Nuclear Advanced manufacturing Group (NAMRC) and AMRC Training Centre.

For this role, you will:

  • Have a passion for supporting people to succeed.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff across multiple diverse departments.
  • Have good problem solving skills.
  • Be able to prioritise your workload appropriately.
  • Act with tact and diplomacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
You will help to facilitate an efficient service whilst supporting the group's growth and development in carrying out world-leading research into advanced machining, manufacturing and materials. On the job training will be provided.
