Salary: UH4 £23,662 pro rata to £24,715 pa with potential to progress to £26,642 pro rata
Annual leave: 25 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our office between Christmas and New Year
Location: Maclaurin Building, Bishops Square, Hatfield
Following an internal promotion we are looking for a Human Resources Administrator to work in our busy and challenging HR environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in working in an HR administrative team and who is keen to develop their HR knowledge and experience. We are currently operating on a hybrid remote and campus-working basis. This position is for an immediate start.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Employee Support Team is responsible for all contractual change and administrative work for salaried staff. This includes being the first point of contact for HR related queries, processing extensions of contracts, leavers, changes of hours, maternity leaves etc. You will be involved in processing Annual Leave adjustments and running monthly reports as well as getting involved in HR related projects and processing restructures.

Skills and Experience
You will have good organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, be able to prioritise a busy and varied workload and have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. You will be a strong team player, able to engage with colleagues and have the ability to work independently. You will be a good communicator (written and verbal) with a strong customer focus. Previous HR administrative experience, or a clear interest in working in HR, would be desirable.

Qualifications Required
Minimum of five GCSEs, including Mathematics and English at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent qualifications or higher, or proven professional work experience.
