Job description

The Faculty of Economics seeks for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised HR Administrator to join our team as soon as possible.

This is a key role that supports a wide range of HR related issues and processes, including carrying out general HR administration to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of the employment life cycle.

The role-holder facilitates University HR policies and procedures for all staff and visitors within the Faculty, including maintenance of HR files, databases and processes. The role-holder provides administrative support for the HR Coordinator and assisting staff, students and visitors as well as other ad hoc duties relating to routine HR administration.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to prioritise effectively, and work with multiple processes and to tight deadlines. They will possess excellent communication skills and be proficient in all standard Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Tact and discretion are essential when handling confidential information and documents. Previous HR experience is not specifically required as training in Cambridge University HR systems will be provided.
