The UCL Division of Psychiatry, located within the Faculty of Brain Sciences, is a world-renowned centre of excellence in mental health research. About the role

The HR Administrator is a member of the Division’s professional services team with a key role in facilitating the smooth running of the Division. The post holder will support the Division’s HR functions including staff recruitment, appraisals and contract changes. The role requires interaction with many people within and external to UCL, and thus a professional and collegial attitude are required.


The post is initially available for 12 months from 01 July 2023 until 28 June 2024 and can be offered as a secondment for internal candidates.

About you

The postholder will have excellent organisational ability, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. The postholder will also have strong numeracy, analysis and problem solving skills, alongside strong oral and written communication skills. Previous HR experience or a CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential and we are committed to providing training and support for the right candidate to enable them to undertake the role.

We are operating hybrid working and you will have the opportunity to work remotely for up to 60% a week if you wish.
