Sittingbourne – Office based with some remote working after training
Basic Salary £21,000 - £23,000 per annum

Swale Heating Ltd is seeking an HR Administrator to join our team in Sittingbourne. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn. The Administrator will be responsible for the administration of the Human Resources department and will also assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and other duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
About the Role/ Principle Accountabilities
You will provide a full range of HR administration services to the HR Manager, Head of HR, HR Advisor, HR Officer and internal departments of the business. This will include:
- Recruitment administration i.e. advertising, CV screening, arranging interviews
- DBS and other employment checks
- Prepare and administer employee starter/leavers documentation
- Support/Run New Starter HR Induction
- Maintain all HR records and filing systems
- Minute taking for ER meetings
- Assist with departmental administration audits
- General administration required by the department
- Travel and hotel bookings
- Manging HR/Recruitment Inbox – dealing with general queries and escalating as necessary
Hours
37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday
Between the hours of 8:00 and 17:30
What do we need from you?
- "A” levels or similar qualification, further training in an administrative or software field essential
- Good relevant experience in a similar role, either in a service, project management or construction industry or similar
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills that allow collaboration with all other departments and the implementation of sound HR practice
- Proven administrative ability, accuracy and attention to detail
- Digital skills: Familiarity with MS Office, HRIS systems such as SAP/SuccessFactors, Access, Workday or similar and the ability to recruit using social and web-based media is essential
