HR Administrator Sheffield, England
Job description
Are you passionate about learning? How about helping others to achieve their potential? We are recruiting to our friendly and professional learning, development, and talent team. It is an exciting opportunity to join us to achieve our ambitions, including growing our learning culture and providing employees with the development opportunities to achieve their potential.
We are changing our approach to learning in the organisation, putting people at the heart of what we do and giving them control of their own learning. Our aim is to create a strategic learning, development and talent approach which creates curiosity and tempts people to satisfy that curiosity, with learning through our own platform.
We can offer you:
- A supportive team that provides excellent learning solutions
- A positive learning environment
- Development to support you in your role
- Monthly one to one conversations that consider your personal development, work allocation and well-being
- A clear service priorities action plan
- A continuous improvement approach
We are looking for a friendly and efficient HR Administrator who has excellent IT skills. Your focus will be on the administration of our learning management system – Go Learn and responding to enquiries from learners across Sheffield City Council, as well as our external customers. You will also carry out office tasks and administration. You will work closely with all members of the learning, development, and talent team, particularly our two Business Support Officers and Digital Learning Officer.
The role is part-time, working 22.5 hours (3 days) per week, which must include Wednesdays. There is some flexibility on when the other two days can be worked. You will be working a hybrid of office and home working.
We are investing in our workforce and are promoting opportunities to our under-represented groups. We value equality, diversity and inclusion and are focused on increasing the diversity of our workforce, particularly the number of Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic, Disabled and LGBTQ+ people, so that our teams reflect the communities in the city we serve. We are also supporting staff with unpaid caring responsibilities to work flexibly.
It is a great time to join us, and we welcome your application.
Under the Disability Confident Scheme, disabled applicants, who meet the essential criteria of this job, are guaranteed an interview.
