Business Administrator - HR

0.8-1.0 FTE – office based in Norwich

Salary: £23,000 per annum pro rata

Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays pro rata

The Role

We are looking for someone to join our brand new team supporting the fantastic work that Norfolk Citizens Advice does to help a wide range of people across Norfolk.

Our volunteers and staff are at the heart of what we do for our communities. We’ve created a new role to make sure we recruit and onboard new staff and volunteers really well, making sure we give them and our colleagues the support they need to really make a difference.

You will be a team player who can also work independently and bring their own initiative to the role. You will join a motivated and capable team, bringing good organisational skills and a passion for helping the team and our organisation to succeed in our vital work.

We will help you to develop your business skills and to support you in your career.

This role will focus on supporting a range of processes involving staff and volunteers, including recruitment, selection, contracting, performance and development. We have ambitious plans for our organisation and the support that our colleagues can expect – this role will be critical in helping to achieve that.

The role is based at our Norwich office on Whiffler Road, but some hybrid working may be possible. We operate a flexible working policy helping colleagues balance work and life.

What we are looking for:

We will provide full training.

However, we will particularly welcome applicants who demonstrate the following experience:

· Good up to date knowledge and understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a varied range of people

· Excellent IT knowledge and skills

· Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work independently

· Previous experience in HR administration
