HR Administrator - London, UK – Permanent full-time role + hybrid working

The Role
Gillespies has an exciting opportunity for a HR Administrator to join the London Studio on a permanent basis to support our Head of People and Culture in the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of HR administrator/coordinator duties around full employee lifecycle and HR Projects.
Key aspects of the role
- Forming and maintaining employee records.
- Updating databases internally, such as sick / maternity leave.
- Processing all new starter documentation, updating HR system with employee information; ensuring all relevant visa/immigration documentation is filed, collating all information on staff qualifications, professional memberships, etc.
- Being a point of contact for employees on any HR related queries.
- Coordinating on-boarding, including induction programmes for new starters, buddy allocation, etc.
- Checking overtime hours for staff, recording time in lieu.
- Providing staff references/verification of employment and admin of all other staff correspondence.
- Coordinating the performance management process and monthly catch ups for new starters.
- Coordinating off-boarding (scheduling exit interviews, leaver letters, etc.)
- Ensuring all information on staff benefits is up to date.
- Keeping up to date on recruitment needs in London and Oxford.
- Assisting with arranging interviews.
- Uploading job adverts on the website.
- Provide ad hoc admin support on HR projects.
Knowledge/Qualifications
- Previous experience in HR administration or recently graduated in Human Resource Management
- This role would suit a fresh graduate looking to work in Human Resources
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Package (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good understanding of Human Resources functions, processes, and best practices
- Understanding the implications of working in an HR function
- Ability to work well under pressure
