HR Administrator - Oldham
Park Cakes is a c£180 million business which supplies cake and desserts to service the own brands of major retailers, there are two sites both based in the North West.
Our products include, high end celebration cake products, slab cakes and mainstream desserts, we mostly supply Marks & Spencer’s although we also supply major retailers including Sainsbury’s, and Morrisons.
We currently have a vacancy for a HR Administrator working in our busy HR office at our Oldham site, this is a role that would be suitable for an experienced person or would be ideal for a graduate looking to gain experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Audio typing for a variety of meetings including Disciplinary, Dismissal and Grievance meetings
- Daily filing of Occupational Health information
- Preparing Occupational health documentation and booking appointments
- Using PowerPoint, Word and Excel to assist members of the HR team with presentations, preparing letters and a variety of work
- Devising contracts and offer packs/induction information for new and existing employees
- Inputting purchase orders on SAP
- Updating and checking on various types of personal information
- Resolving queries with employees in person, over the phone and by email
- Photocopying and a variety of general administration tasks
- Covering for other members of the HR Administration team for a variety of tasks including the Park News Magazine
- Various ad hoc administration duties to support the Training & HR function at the Oldham site
Ideal Attributes and Experience:
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good word and ideally excel, powerpoint would also be useful
- A confident manner and a strong customer service focus and several years previous experience of working in a business office
- Initiative to resolve queries and high levels of organisation and planning
- An excellent telephone and face to face manner
- Flexibility to assist the team as required
- Highly diligent and confidential manner and approach
Hours:
Start and finish times can be varied to suit the candidate, but must be over 5 days a week, start times are typically between 8.30am and 9.30am with 30 minutes unpaid lunch.
Package:
£15,693 per annum for 22.5 hours per week plus 25 days holiday a year and 8 statutory holidays, Money purchase pension scheme with 5% contribution of salary, Discount scheme for online and High Street Shopping
