Evolve Housing + Support works in the London Boroughs of Merton, Croydon, Lambeth, and the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. We are one of the largest providers of homelessness accommodation in London and work with people of all ages, providing housing, support and guidance to empower them towards independent living and to building a better life.
We’re looking for an HR Administrator to join our team and work closely with HR Advisors as integral part of our small People & Culture Team. We need someone who can help us to deliver high quality, comprehensive, people focused HR services to over 200 Evolve colleagues.
We are a flexible, friendly and supportive team who work hard to constantly improve the way we work. Our days and weeks are busy but there is a lot of support and a chance for you to develop your skills in the HR profession in an organisation who put people first.
In this role you will:
- Be the first point of contact for the People and Culture team
- Support training administration including course coordination, course promotion, evaluation and reporting
- Provide support to external parties, trainers, employees, and managers
- Work on a range of L&D activities ensuring effective and up to date L&D procedures and systems, - including financial procedures such as payment of invoices, training booking procedures, updating of records, and running reports.
- Provide end to end recruitment administration support - placing adverts and maintaining recruitment and HR databases. As well as arranging interviews and communicating effectively with managers and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Onboard new starters ensuring an excellent candidate experience throughout the process – including all pre-employment checks such as RTW, DBS and referencing.
- Deliver effective and timely admin processing and always ensuring compliance to statutory legislation and safer recruitment practices.
- Provide a wide variety of administration ensuring all people related enquiries are responded to effectively and efficiently within the agreed service levels.
You will need to be:
Experienced in administration and demonstrate good planning and organisation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Word and Excel to intermediate/advanced level
Able to use software/databases to keep accurate records/run reports
Able to deliver HR services in a personalised way with a customer first mindset
Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with a wide range of people both internally and externally

Salary FTE £28,110 – Actual £11,244 per annum (£14.42 per hour)
