Job description
We’re looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic People Advisor to join our CPM HR team based in Thame. The People Advisor will provide administrative and operational support to the People Services Team (HR, Talent, and Reward) covering all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, contracting and producing reports. Salary £26,000 per annum, Bupa healthcare, generous holiday allowance, Hybrid working available. 37.5 hours Monday-Friday.
Ideal location: Thame, United Kingdom, OX9
Hybrid working is available however, initial training will be mostly on-site.

Key Responsibilities of the People Advisor role:
- Generating contracts/offer letters.
- Setting up new starters (uploading onto the HR database, payroll notifications, obtaining references, carrying out inductions & managing new starter documentation).
- Changes to documentation
- Holiday and absence queries from employees and managers.
- Monitoring employee Entitlement to Work status to ensure legal compliance.
- Flexible benefit support, invoices, and suppliers
- Archiving of information/documentation as required.
- Ad hoc and routine/monthly reporting.
- Ad hoc project administration – liaison with relevant colleagues to provide administrative support to projects as and when required.
To be successful you should have some relevant experience working in a busy team in an administrative role and above all you will:
- Be very well organised
- Have strong administration and IT skills
- Have strong communication skills (Written & Verbal)
- Be able to deal with confidential information and maintain confidentiality
- Work accurately and have good attention to detail
- Preferably you will have previous experience working with an HRIS (Such as Cascade) however, this is not essential and can be trained.
