About the role
- Provide a professional HR administration service and be a crucial part of the busy HR function.
- Be responsible for providing a comprehensive, effective and professional HR administration service to the HR department and wider business within a fast paced and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage on-boarding administrative tasks, referencing and processing right to work documentation/checks in line with legislation.
- To inform colleagues of standard policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner, providing first line support and guidance, ensuring queries are resolved promptly and accurately.
- Collate induction requirements and implement induction schedules with the relevant departments.
- Continue to review the administrative tasks, providing ideas on where systems and processes can be streamlined.
- To create and maintain accurate colleague records on the HR systems and Payroll.
- Support end to end HR Administration processes such as production of contracts, changes to T & C's, references.
- To resolve standard queries by phone or e-mail in accordance with HR policy and guidelines.
- To escalate more complex queries to appropriate HR specialist / Team Leader.
- To input and maintain accurate information on our HR and payroll systems.
- To produce accurate and timely correspondence to colleagues and external third parties.
- Keep a high standard electronic filing system which is uniformed and kept up to date.
- Ensure all HR documentation/correspondence is delivered within agreed SLA's and quality KPI's.
Experience & Qualifications
- Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and team members.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Ability to use a HR information system including accessing and inputting/compiling data.
- Experience within the private sector
- CIPD level 3 or working towards
- Highly organised and strong attention to detail
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills

Experience & Qualifications
Desirable
- CIPD qualified to a minimum of Level 3
Essential
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
Proven HR experience within a similar role
Understanding of the right to work process
Previous experience of using HR software
Aptitude, skills and abilities
Strong communication skills both verbally and written
Strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as a contributing team member
