Overview of the Job
The HR Administrator is a key position within the team, supporting the People Business Partners across CATS Global Schools.
Working as part of a proactive, innovative, and responsive People & Engagement team, you will provide administrative duties including managing and maintaining employment records and updating internal databases.
You will also build and develop relationships with managers and staff at all levels to provide support and guidance on a range of HR matters and share best practice across CATS Global Schools.

You will be directly responsible to People Business Partner
Overview of the role
Provision of an efficient, effective and customer focussed service which supports all aspects of an employee’s relationship and engagement with the business including, but not limited to, all HR systems, recruitment, safeguarding, terms and conditions of employment, training, and development activities, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding standards, and business policies.
Contribute to the effective development, implementation, and maintenance of the HRIS (iTrent), ensuring data is updated accordingly along with ensuring managers and employees are supported in the full utilisation of the system.
Responsibilities
Maintain personal records and input employment datils on our HRIS.
Create offer packs, contracts of employment, variation to contract and leaver letters.
Manage HR SYSAID effectively to deliver outcomes in a timely manner.
Liaise with the People partners to review and update policies and procedures.
Be integral is establishing the P&E SLA’s and ensuring adherence to these once established.
Create regular reports for the People Partners
Provide the first point of contact in a polite and professional manner for the main telephone number and calls from reception, answer employee queries.
Assist with the post & office management duties as required.
Provide administration support to People Partners in note taking and hearing arrangement.
Provide a high level of customer service.
Monitoring and Compliance:
Work alongside the Talent team to ensure right to work details are correct and meet UKVI regulations.
Monitor absence and supports line managers to ensure persistent and/or long-term absences are flagged and managed in line with our policy, including supporting People Partners with occupational health referrals where necessary.
Person Specification
Essential
Good knowledge of employee relations basics and employment legislation
Experience of HR Information Systems
A ‘can do’, solutions focussed attitude and approach.
Computer literacy (MS Office applications)
Excellent communication skills
Pro-active approach to work and problem solving, and the ability to spot and deal with issues as they occur.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent)
Experience within the education sector
Experience and / or training in safeguarding regulations and practices
