The Department of Public Health & Primary Care are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated HR Administrative Assistant to support the work in the Department of Public Health & Primary Care (PHPC) as part of the Professional Services Team under the supervision of the HR Coordinator.
The post-holder will form a key part in the day-to-day processes of the HR administration team working to provide timely, accurate and professional administrative support in all aspects of HR to the Department and all of the subgroups within PHPC to facilitate the smooth operation of HR services within our large and busy Department.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be a competent user of standard software packages such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word. You will be self-motivated and reliable and will have previous administrative experience and be used to dealing with confidential information. A good general knowledge surrounding the concepts and principles of HR administration along with the desire to learn and develop further skills in this area is highly desirable. You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent or have equivalent experience.
This is a full-time position and the funding for this post is permanent.
Location - Department of Public Health and Primary Care, Strangeways Research Laboratory, Worts Causeway, Cambridge CB1 8RN (approx 2 miles south of city centre)
