We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our Onboarding team. In this role you will play a key role in ensuring our new starters get a great first impression of LRQA, along with using your strong communication skills to ensure that our hiring manager are kept up to date and well informed throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process all new starter paperwork – enter on to our HR system, and work with appropriate 3rd parties where necessary for referencing/medicals.
- Ensure new starters inductions are co-ordinated and liaise with the line manager to set up to start date
- Maintain immigration spread sheet and ensure relevant documents are obtained
- Ensure internal files are up to date and payroll is informed of any changes to an employee’s record
- Be responsible for conducting elements of HR reporting including new starter processes
- Take responsibility for projects or areas of work as requested
- Answer Onboarding queries as part of HR Helpdesk meeting SLA’s and escalating where required
- Work closely with recruiters ensuring offer letters & contracts are issued in a timely manner
- Build strong stakeholder relationships with HR community and business managers
- Work to key performance indicators ensuring contribution to SLA’s
- Constantly monitor and make recommendations for improvement
- Help coach HR community and business managers on procedures ensuring high quality of work
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Administrative experience within a HR function
- Experience working to tight deadlines in order to keep to SLA's
- Strong written and verbal communication, adapting style when necessary
- Strong organisational skills - ensuring key stakeholders and internal documents are kept up to date at all times
