Priory Hospital Mill Garth is looking for a HR Administrator - Based in Leeds
£19,331.19. per annum for 30 hours per week - 30 hours - 4 days 8.30am - 16.30pm
Mill Garth Hospital (part of the Priory Group) is a 21-bedded locked rehabilitation and recovery service suitable for men aged 18 years and over. The hospital focuses on active rehabilitation and recovery for those with mental illnesses and personality disorders.
An exciting opportunity for the role of HR Administrator has arisen at Mill Garth. This is a true HR generalist role with a lot of administration involved. The role will be supporting all aspects of the employee life cycle including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, absence management and general HR queries.
The main purpose of the role is to provide an efficient, professional and effective administrative support to the hospital in line with HR policies and procedures.
Key duties are:
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction of new colleagues at the hospital including advertising roles, carry out all pre-employment checks and organising inductions.
- Work to strict deadlines to accurately complete payroll on a weekly and monthly basis ensuring all documentation is processed within the set timeframes.
- Manage all internal and external HR queries for the hospital and maintaining records in line with requirements.
- Supporting managers with managing colleagues absences including logging and tracking absences, taking meeting minutes and drafting letters.
- Taking detailed minutes for managers in HR meetings as and when required.
- Accurately update and maintain the HR systems and databases.
- Process documents in line with policy and liaising with other teams as and when required.
For this role you will require excellent administration and IT skills, also great communication and organisation. Previous experience in HR is desirable.
Please note the position is for 30 hours per week over 4 days; days to be discussed at interview.
