About us:
Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site.
We are the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges and textile inks.
These products are shipped to an Epson warehouse in Germany where they are then distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Quality and innovation is at the heart of everything we do, from our Cleanroom environment to our in-house machinery, design and technology improvements from which we use our own Epson 6-axis robots.
Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm
Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm
Position Summary:
The HR Administrator will be responsible for the administration tasks within the HR department. They are required to work continuously towards the department KPI targets ensuring that all paperwork and electronic documents are completed in line with company policy.
The main duties and responsibilities for this role:
- First point of contact for all HR related queries
- Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
- New starter processes, induction, new starter paperwork, creating of clock cards and enrolment onto employee clocking system
- Completion of external requests from external bodies relating to current or former employees
- Arrangement of agency staff in line with company requirements to include the agency induction process
- Maintain sickness records, including processing sick notes, self certs and issuing letters to request up to date documentation
- Administration and control of the work experience process; liaising with internal departments
- Arrange and attend local events to promote Epson Telford, in line with our CSR activity calendar
- Book internal and external training as per the company requirements
- Raise purchase orders for authorisation in line with invoices and/or orders placed
- Support the HR team with minute taking and attendance of meetings when required
- Administer HR-related documentation, such as contract of employment
Qualifications – essential:
- Minimum GCSE level C (4-9) in English and Maths
Experience Required – essential:
- Previous experience in an administration role
- Excellent level of computer knowledge, specifically Microsoft packages
Experience Required – desirable:
- Previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
