CORE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
You'll receive enquiries from SME and Business banking either via Bank network of colleagues or direct and will be expected to discuss potential HP & Leasing solutions for customers or prospects considering purchasing business assets.
You'll also work closely with Asset Finance Field representatives to assist with a joint responsibility to deliver low touch business via central model.
This role is available on a 6 month secondment basis.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- A track record in a fast-paced sales environment managing a sales pipeline
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, client facing role.
- You'll need to show a real passion for developing new relationships and uncovering future business opportunities.
- Demonstrate a good level of understanding of associate risks and balance that with tenacious sales mindset
Key Accountabilities:
- Proactive and reactive telephony and written contact with customers.
- Agree and deliver Asset Finance solutions and generate new opportunities by managing relationships with customers (small and medium sized companies)
- Keeps track of risk parameters and risk assesses each opportunity against a low touch ‘criteria based acceptance’ model and has authority to agree within limit
- Assesses financial accounts in preparation of a manual submission into our underwriting team
- Track the overall progress of deals, and pursue your own pipeline of opportunities, from the leads provided, through to the delivery of a successful client needs met.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience at all times.
Essential skills and experience:
- A consistent track record within a proactive sales environment.
- Excellent relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills to agree the best financial solution for the customer
- A genuine passion for helping our clients and helping their business grow.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow a structured sales and compliance process
- Adherence to regulatory/compliance standards – demonstrating fair and well evidenced customer outcomes that are tailored to the needs of the business
Desirable:
- Understanding of financial accounts.
- Background in Banking/Financial Services.
