My Space Housing Solutions provides Exempt Accommodation to some of the most vulnerable people in society, supporting and enabling them to live independently.

What you’ll be doing…
Managing the selection, development, performance and day to day operations of a Team of housing support officers (HSO)
Ensure each HSO and housing scheme operates in compliance with all legal requirements.
Maintaining Tenant satisfaction as per set targets and maximising Tenant Involvement in shaping the delivery of our services
Contributing to the sector scorecard in partnership with senior colleagues
Implement strategies to sustain tenancies and prevent ASB utilising the expertise of the dedicated ASB service
To ensure that the business is operated to the highest standards in line our mission statement and values
To ensure that everything that is carried out across the Region adds value for the tenant and our organisation
Through information received from Tenant and Staff questionnaires as well as other channels of feedback, ensure that in conjunction with the Regional Manager we are addressing service issues and constantly developing standards and products in line with clients’ needs
To ensure H.R procedures are followed within the Team
Ensure that all agreed quality and control procedures are followed through within the Team utilising the skillset and expertise throughout the wider region
Conduct regular one2ones and appraisals for all direct reports in line with agreed processes
Comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health and Safety, Fire, Licensing and ensure that you and all members of the team are aware of and are working in accordance with these requirements
Understand and adhere to the standards and frameworks as defined by the Regulator of Social Housing and the Care Quality Commission

What we will be looking for from you…
Extensive experience in the delivery of operational housing services
Experience of leading, developing, motivating and managing teams of staff delivering a variety of services
Experience of implementing and monitoring Performance Management Systems
Experience of leading and delivering change within a complex organisation
Experience of leading services that deliver outstanding tenant focused services
Ability to contribute to reports to Regional Manager /Board /Committees
Working knowledge of housing legislation and current housing issues
Able to influence, persuade and negotiate to achieve positive outcomes
Able to lead, motivate, develop and inspire teams
Able to act as an ambassador for the group
Ability to manage high workload and conflicting priorities
Able to identify strategic issues and develop future strategic and operational plans
Ability to effectively set and manage budgets and resources
Ability to work with and develop new arrangements with partners including elected members and external agencies
Able to analyse complex data and deliver information to a range of audiences
Work in accordance with an ethos of Supporting Independence and Inspiring growth
Ability to demonstrate practice rooted in Respect, Teamwork, Empathy and integrity
Accountable for their work and delivers outcomes
