Hellidon Lakes is a modern and stylish hotel resort offering a spectacular venue for golf breaks, business events & conferences, weddings and social functions, set amongst the glorious rolling hills of the Northamptonshire & Warwickshire countryside.
The hotel comprises of 111 bedrooms, 16 Function rooms, Restaurant, 4 Resident Bars, Leisure Club with Spa, Golf Club and its very own Bowling Alley. The Housekeeping Assistant / Room Attendant Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed people to join our very dedicated and hardworking housekeeping team on a full or part time basis.
The housekeeping team are responsible for ensuring the entire venue is cleaned to the highest standards. There are a variety of jobs that could be covered on a daily basis and liaising directly with both the Head Housekeeper and Assistant Head Housekeeper, the successful candidate could be working on one of the bedrooms, managing the laundry, or covering a conference suite, the public areas or sports facility.
Key Responsibilities of a Room Attendant:
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards within the time allocated
- Immediately report any problems or accidents to the shift supervisor
- To apply discretion and communicate any guest requests to the appropriate team member or department manager
- To manage individual stock usage on each shift, completing all required administration.
- To adhere to all shift opening and closing procedures
- Follow all department and general Hotel, Health & Safety procedures
The Candidate must have:
- Although not essential as full training will be provided, it would be advantageous to have previous Hotel Housekeeping experience
- Ability and focus to work alone as well as part of a team
- Attention to the smallest detail
- Basic written and verbal English language skills would be advantageous, although not essential.
- A positive and passionate attitude
- Good time keeping, reliability and honesty
- A desire to excel, learn, progress your career
- Shifts will vary and be between the hours of 6am to 8pm and will include weekends
- Own transport, or means of travelling to the hotel is essential due to location
