Salary: £9.90 per hour

Hours per week: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00
Location: Bridgend, CF35 6NY

The MSS Group are seeking a reliable individual, who can provide general cleaning and maintain our customer focused approach.

Job Purpose
· To ensure the cleaning standards are maintained within in the Production areas of the factory.
· To be proactive & reactive to the Health & Safety of the team and others on site.
· To deliver contractual obligations in accordance with client expectations.
Accountabilities
· Maintain the standards of cleaning required with all floors and all surfaces (railings, ledges, doors etc).
· Using brushes, cleaning chemicals, cloths, and machinery to achieve standards.
· High-level cleaning also completed, from ground level only, using specific high-level vacuum.
· To be proactive of periphery areas of cleaning route that are MSS’ responsibility.
· Regular communication with Coordinator to guarantee smooth operation of the contract delivery.
· Take a pro-active stance when it comes to Health and Safety matters.
· Schedule and prioritise workload and standards effectively.
· To assist in the training others in the role to continue the high standard of work.
· Partake in audits and any follow up actions if required.
· Confirm all equipment required is safe to use prior to task commencing.
· To example pride in the task.
· Communicate any service deficiencies, hazards or any non-compliance trends that are discovered.
· Understand guidelines set out in the MSS Group Company Handbook.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
· Health & Safety awareness.
· Experience with cleaning machines (scrubber driers).
· Good communication skills.
· Continuous improvement mind set.
