We are currently seeking a conscientious and diligent Housekeeping Attendant with great attention to detail to join our Residential Services team. The shift pattern for this role is 8am to 4.30pm or 1.45pm to 10.15pm, working 5 days from 7. Our team works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way.
What will you be doing?
- Consistently delivering and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the estate, including deep cleaning as and when required.
- Taking huge pride in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of your assigned areas is always achieved, be that the woodland retreats, one of the many comfort stations, our colleague spaces, grand dining halls or one of our bedrooms or houses When the refurbishment is complete, the historic Taymouth Castle apartments, outlets and public spaces will also be within our remit.
- Restocking and replacing items in bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas, making sure everything is in its place.
- Servicing our suites, houses and public spaces following our procedures clearly and attentively; cleaning all surfaces and floors; showers, baths, basins and toilets, kitchens, windows and garden furniture all of this to the highest standard
- Vacuuming floors, corridors, and stairs to remove all debris; expertly using the correct cleaning materials for each particular task.
- Interacting with those we meet, our members and guests in a warm, professional, and helpful manner, doing everything you can ensure their stay with us is luxurious in every way.
The kind of person we're looking for:
- Ideally, you'll have at least three months previous experience within a similar role. However, full training will be given.
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards.
- You have a “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner.
- A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're organised, punctual and have a strong eye for detail.
- Physically strong, this is a varied role that will keep you on your feet. We enjoy the great outdoors and working in all weather conditions will be second nature.
