Job description
We are a well-established friendly team and wanting a good all-rounder in housekeeping to join our team.
The Kelvin Hotel is looking for an experienced house keeper to join our small team.
Duties will include
- Making beds
- Cleaning rooms
- Laundry
- Serving breakfasts and setting up dining room
- General cleaning down of kitchen and ensuring all public areas are kept tidy
- Cover days off and holidays in conjunction with the rest of the team The successful applicant will be
- Able to work as part of a small team
- Be experienced in housekeeping
- Be able to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
- Enjoy maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the hotel.
As we are a small hotel, the work is varied and can lead to getting experience in other areas such as bar, reception and training can be arranged. We can be flexible with start and finish times and days.Live in is available. The core hours will be 8.00am – 2pm. 5 to 6 days out of 7 days. There could be more hours available.
