We require a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join a highly motivated, dedicated team of Domestics at Warneford Hospital .
This role adds to the patients experience by providing a high-quality cleaning and catering service. The aim will be to ensure a clean safe environment and catering provision for clients, of which in-house training will be provided.
If you have a proven track record of being able to deliver a high-quality cleaning service, this could be the role for you and we want to hear from you!
The post-holder will be responsible for cleaning the public areas and Patient areas, Offices and could at times be required to work on wards , according to Trust policy and procedures at a level that meets or exceeds National Cleanliness standards.
The successful candidate needs to be a team player who will be flexible and reliable, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
The post involves working Monday to Friday between the hours of
07.00 am till 11.30 am .
You may be asked to work extra so flexibility is required.

To carry out daily cleaning routines as scheduled.
To carry out cleaning tasks as per rota.
To handle and remove waste in line with segregation processes and procedures.
Please note:
- New starters have a 6 month probationary period. This, together with the induction process aims to create a positive supportive working environment allowing new employees to learn key elements of their role over a reasonable timescale.
- Candidates not currently employed by the Trust who attend an interview for non-qualified Band 1-5 posts are required to undertake numeracy and literacy assessments.
- Appointment to this post is subject to the trust receiving satisfactory references covering 3 years of employment or study. Please ask your referees to respond promptly to reference requests.
- Employees are expected to undertake mandatory and statutory training related to their role.
