Job description: Diligent housekeeper with friendly attitude and positive disposition.
Main responsibilities:
Housekeeping, deep cleaning, normal cleaning, bedroom changes and laundry
in the Guest house and garden catering facility
Primary Objective:
· To ensure customers are welcomed to a clean and fresh property in every respect
Duties:
· Common areas polished and hovered
· Outside Windows on ground floor kept washed, inside all thoroughly clean
· Servicing rooms daily
· Rooms changed and remade with room styles maintained
· Laundry gathered, packed, recorded and dispatched to Guernsey, on return (chased if necessary, dealing with Sark Shipping will be required,) unpacking and monitoring.
· Ensuring quality standards at all times
Secondary responsibilities:
· Waiting on breakfast guests on busy times or when other staff members are of duty.
Duties:
· Waiting in garden on visiting guests in the afternoon.
· Clearing and resetting tables
· Data Protection of all customer records or business dealings, information may not be divulged to anyone outside of the business.
Hours:
o Flexibility in early and later months to accommodate low guest numbers.
Normally day will start early at 7.30 or in slack times 8.00 and end at 5.00 or 6.00 with a break at 10.30 – 11.00 and 1.30-2.30.
o Evening Waiting work when demand dictates. No evening waiting work in slack off season times.

Salary: £9.00 per hour

Salary: £17,283.00-£28,411.00 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
COVID-19 considerations:
At times we may be required by Guernsey and Sark Government to wear masks but the whole house is sanitized daily. Knowledge of deep cleaning is a requirement
