Job Summary:
The primary duty of the housekeeping/cleaning team member is to clean and maintain the short term rental facilities to meet guests’ satisfaction.
Duties/Responsibilities includes but is not limited to:
1. Cleaning of short-term rental apartments.
2. Complete tasks such as making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures plus a variety of other cleaning tasks.
3. Ensuring apartments are in a readiness state for occupation.
4. Ensure all cleaning equipment is kept clean & maintained in safe working order. All equipment used should be stored as necessary.
5. Ensure regular checks of equipment and report any deficiencies.
6. Ensure all designated areas are thoroughly cleaned.
7. Carry out extra spring/deep cleaning tasks as the need arises.
8. Report hazards to landlord.
9. Laundering the apartments’ linens to a high standard.
10. Adhering to all safety and personal protective equipment, practices, and procedures.
11. Working within the guidelines of Health, Safety, Fire, and Hygiene operatives to ensure all staff and guests are safe at all times.
12. Maintaining clear, efficient communication with the landlord and accommodation team ensuring apartment units and public areas are serviced in a timely fashion ready for our guests.
13. Adding extra touches or requests to the bedrooms as required through bookings
14. Replenish toilet rolls, soaps, paper towels and any other requisites required throughout the working day.
