Job description
A multi-faceted venue in the heart of the city centre, boasting award-winning restaurants and wedding & banqueting suits along with guest bedrooms.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and friendly individual to join our team. The ideal candidate would have the following skills and abilities:
- Attention to detail and high standards of work
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Excellent decision-making ability is a must-have
- Sense of prioritising tasks
- Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and tactfully with the public and co-workers
- Ability to work in a team but also effectively on your own
Your role will be to complete daily and weekly cleaning routines to an excellent standard helping us to ensure our venue is always immaculately presented for our guest. You will assist with maintaining our venue to its high standards and with the below:
- Daily cleaning of all customer-facing areas including customer toilets during peak days of the week.
- Cleaning and maintaining standards of the hotel bedrooms.
- Weekly deep cleaning of key areas.
- Ensuring all health and safety standards are met for the benefit of our guests and colleagues and always maintaining a safe environment.
- Undertake additional cleaning tasks as and when required.
- Keep a record of all cleaning supplies and advise management when reordering is needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
