University Hospitals Birmingham has open its doors to a brand new treatment centre adjacent to its Heartlands Hospital location in Bordesley Green B9.

The new Ambulatory Care and Diagnostics Centre (ACAD) will represent a multi-million pound investment in services at Heartlands Hospital, which will benefit patients, staff and local communities.

To support this and our existing facilities, we have created 10 vacancies for Housekeepers- typically starting from 4pm, across weekdays and weekends.

As a key member of this vital team you will be charged with all aspects of cleaning within wards, communal areas and consultation rooms. This will include; infection control and quality assurance.

This critical role is key to the safety and well being of our patients and team members.

Ideally you will have experience within a cleaning/housekeeping or a hygiene based role where you have worked to deadlines and within set guidelines- additionally, you will need high attention to detail with the ability to follow instruction with little supervision.

In return you can expect a salary pro rated package to include a salary of £22,383, along with a benefits that include 27 days leave rising with service + bank holidays public sector pension, uniform and more.
