Job description

Student Castle Bath is searching for an additional housekeeper to join our team. We provide a home for students and also a small boutique hotel for guests visiting Bath.

• Keeping communal areas of Student Castle clean and tidy including office area, reception, lifts, stairwells, corridors, gym, laundry, common room, toilets, bike store and car park.
• Cleaning some resident bedrooms and studios including bedroom, kitchen and bathroom as required.
• Cleaning hotel rooms including bedroom, kitchen and bathroom on a day to day basis.
• Role includes washing, dusting, vacuum cleaning and sweeping as appropriate.
• Deep cleaning rooms after a resident has left ready for new arrival.
• Assisting with turnaround of short stay rooms.
• Making up rooms with bedding for newly arriving residents.
• Storage of cleaning equipment in appropriate manner in accordance with Health and Safety policy.
• Recording stock levels of cleaning equipment and informing administrative team when replacement stock is needed.
• Assist in performing deep clean of building during annual building turnaround time.
• Maintaining a good relationship with residents and hotel guests.
• Assisting management team in ad hoc requests as appropriate especially at peak times such as move in and out period. This will require performing extra hours in addition to your contracted term.
• Any other tasks deemed within your remit by management.

You will work on a rota, covering weekends when required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £21,905.00 per year
