Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operating Department Orderly to join our friendly and welcoming Theatres team at Dewsbury & District Hospital.
The Trust has 28 multi-speciality theatres across three sites, Wakefield, Pontefract and Dewsbury. All acute surgery is centralised on the Pinderfields site in Wakefield. We are developing Pontefract site as a centre of orthopaedic excellence. Dewsbury has received a post covid improvement grant to develop its day surgery services. We provide an interesting, dynamic and challenging range of clinical specialties such as the regional burns theatre, ophthalmology and trauma services, bariatric surgery, DIEP and major plastics theatres to name just a few.
