Do you like keep busy and moving? Are you someone who can work independently while keeping focused and busy? Do you have an eye for clean and making things look sharp - floors shining and brass gleaming? Are you willing to pitch in when an extra set of hands is needed? Then you will be very happy working as the Night Cleaner, where you will be responsible for all proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment in the outlet kitchens and food production and storage areas. In the role of Night Cleaner you will:
- Focus on Details - maintain cleanliness in assigned areas, including floor mats, ovens, vents and storage facilities as well as maintain other kitchen equipment throughout the back of the house areas. Be sure to report anything missing or in need of repair.
- Be Organized - ensure any areas assigned to you are kept stocked, clean and crisp.
- Be a Team Player - help by pitching as needed. Assume there will be other deep cleaning projects assigned as well and that the cleaning of the public areas will be required from time to time. This is all part of your role to do as the need arises.
- Be a Safety & Security Agent - follow your hotel's established safety and security policies & procedures. Anticipate problems and call management as needed.
To be successful in this role, you need Basic English communication skills; at least 2 years of prior housekeeping experience helpful. You will need to safely operate equipment such as a dish machine, hot boxes, rolling carts, mops, etc. as well as the chemicals used to maintain/clean the hotel. Medium work - exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. In this role you must have the ability to stand for long hours and be able to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
