Monarch Healthcare are recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our team at Heeley Bank Nursing Home, Sheffield, S2.
Heeley Bank offers care and nursing support for up to 64 people in a spacious, well-maintained home. The home is based within a residential area in Sheffield and benefits from good transport links to the surrounding areas.
Hours: 30 hours per week, on a rota basis, including alternate weekends and some bank holidays. The rate of pay is dependent on experience.
Shift times: 08:00-15:30 - 4 Shifts per week.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prioritise workload and allocation of tasks
- Create, monitor and undertake cleaning regimes for all areas
- Conduct housekeeping audits and spot checks
- Continually assess and ensure high standards
- Liaise with the Home Manager regarding the effectiveness of cleaning products and ensure their safe storage.
- Maintain an efficient stock control system and order supplies
- Undertake monthly stock checks
- Listen, advise, and give direction to the staff team; provide feedback and support
- Create and maintain accurate records as required
- Prepare rotas
