KYN BICKLEY is an 86-bedroom home offering each resident an elegant and comfortable bedroom, communal areas for dining and reclining; and inviting outdoor terraces overlooking landscaped gardens bordered by woodland. We have a further three care homes in development in London.
About the opportunity:
As a Laundry Assistant you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Laundry Supervisor in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere consistently delivering an exceptional experience for our residents, their families and team members
- The day-to-day management of laundry room whilst ensuring all uniforms and laundry supplies are cleaned to the highest standards
- Ensuring compliance with instructions issued by the Laundry Supervisor regarding the use of laundry equipment, materials and chemicals
- Ensuring all laundry related queries are answered promptly and in a professional manner
- Ensuring all items are laundered, checking the labels for correct washing and ironing instructions
- Ensuring all personal clothing items are clearly marked with the resident’s name, and if not, re-mark before returning to the resident’s room
About you:
- You will have experience in a similar role either in a care home or 4-5-star hospitality venue
- You will be a professional, who has a proven track record of delivering and maintaining standards at the highest level
- You will be an organised team player who can achieve quality results, work at high speed and have excellent communication and listening skills
- You will be a compassionate, empathetic, kind, and caring individual
