Job Summary:
Full time , professional Live in Housekeeper is needed by a great family based near Holland Park in Kensington. This is a lovely role helping support a family with 2 school aged children and a baby on the way. During the day will then be mainly housekeeping and some assistance with getting the children off to school and simple family cooking a few times a week( Cooking duties shared with the other housekeeper who has been with the family for 10 years) . Mum is looking for someone who has good Housekeeping experience as well as being child friendly. The eldest children attend full time education, The family would also like you to travel when needed with the family.
Accommodation: Large ensuite bedroom
General duties:
- preparing a simple healthy evening meal for the family a few times a week
- Preparing Breakfast for the children
- Running the household and keeping everyone organised
- Keeping house tidy and organised
- General hands on housekeeping
- Hoovering and dusting
- Wardrobe management
- Unpacking and packing school bags
- Dealing with contractors and tradespeople.
- Changing/making beds
- Travelling with the family during the summer and winter- for 2-4 weeks
- Flexible to babysit on occasion
- Helping with the children
Candidate requirements:
- Experience with fine furniture
- Experience with high end clothing and wardrobe management
- Must have fluent English and it would be a bonus if another language was spoken
- Must be child friendly and enjoy being around children
- Team player
- Someone warm, friendly and well organised
- Willing to travel when necessary
DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
