Job description
We are looking for housekeepers to join our team! Our properties are based throughout Ayrshire: Ayr, Prestwick and Kilmarnock. Our properties vary from 1 bedroom apartments up to large 4 bedroom homes. We also have hotel rooms in Ayr.
We are looking for housekeepers who will exceed our expectations, ensuring that all properties and rooms are cleaned to our high standards. We pride ourselves in providing the highest standards to our guests. Our aim is for every guest to experience more. Time management, excellent attention to detail and good organisational and communication skills is key to this role.
Working Schedule:
- Rotational work schedule - Weekdays and weekends required
- Essential working times: 10am-3pm
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK Driving License Required
- Use of your own vehicle
- Essential Availability: 10am-3pm to meet required change over time
- Access to your own smartphone or tablet for admin use
- Physical requirements include handling heavy equipment and carrying linen bags
- Required to collect linen and consumables before cleans from our central office in Ayr
- Able to speak and communicate in English
- Authorised to work in the UK
Desirable Requirements:
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and knowledge of cleaning chemicals - COSHH Aware
- SQA Cleaning & Support Qualification (SQV2)
- BICS Training Experience and/or knowledge of BICS
- Basic maintenance skills
