Astley Hall Care Home is an 83 bed Registered Care Home providing an excellent standard of residential care, including dementia care, as well as shorter term respite care.
There are excellent opportunities in our new Care Home for those who aspire to “really make a difference” to the lives of older people that have chosen to live in spectacular newly developed residential care services.
We are recruiting for another Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping Team. Applicants should possess a genuine commitment to providing the highest quality of work within our beautiful new purpose-built care home setting, working alongside the other Housekeepers.
The successful candidate will;
- Have previous experience of working in a similar role, or a genuine interest in acquiring high quality housekeeping skills
- Have a proven stable employment record and references
The ideal candidate will;
- Have the ability to build thriving dynamic staff teams in a warm and inviting atmosphere
- Be able to multi-task, liaise and drive forward activity on site
- Be able to act on your own initiative and have the confidence in your ability
A DBS will be completed before commencement of the role.
A variety of shifts will cover all 7 days of the week (including alternate weekend working). Specific hours to be discussed at interview up to 35 hours per week, depending on the needs of the Home at the time.
Salary: £10.75 per hour as of the 1st April 2023
