What You Will Do as a Housekeeping Aide

As a Stonerise housekeeping aide, you will perform daily housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, polishing, and sanitizing rooms, furniture, and fixtures. Some of your primary responsibilities include:

• Cleaning, polishing furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in the patients’ rooms, recreational areas, offices, etc.
• Cleaning, washing, sanitizing, and/or polishing bathroom fixtures
• Cleaning window and mirrors in patients’ rooms, recreational areas, etc.
• Cleaning floors, which includes sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, etc.
• Cleaning carpets, including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting
• Discarding waste/trash into proper containers
