Position Title: Cleaning/Housekeeping Building Services Manager

Job Overview:
Assist in the preparation of grids and workloads for housekeeping staff, ensuring maximum efficiency. Monitor and report on expenses (payroll and supplies) to aid in controlling costs while ensuring adequate staff and supplies are on hand to provide quality service. Manage housekeeping staff.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor all the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including the cleanliness of all areas of campus.
- Lead, hire, and train housekeeping staff.
- Take inventory and ensure there is a stock of adequate cleaning supplies
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is in proper working condition and make arrangements for repairs as needed.
- Perform work according to directions, standard procedure, and/or the established schedule
- Work alongside housekeeping staff
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping management as an executive housekeeper, housekeeping director, or other similar position
- At least 2+ years’ experience in a college setting
- Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Applicants should be excellent leaders, detail-oriented, and demonstrate a commitment to customer service
Education:
- A High school diploma or GED is required

- Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the College Community.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
- Regular work schedule is Monday-Friday
- It will require some nights and weekends

Full-time employees are eligible to receive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Full-Time employees can earn between 18-23 paid time off a year. The employer covers tuition remission after 90 days of employment and covers 100 % (employees responsible for books and technology fees).
