37.5 hours per week
Shifts 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
You will be required to work on a rota, including weekends and bank holidays and have a flexible approach for annual leave and sickness.
We are looking to appoint a porter at Walton Hospital to work 37.5 hours per week.
The post holder is responsible for the security of the site, delivery of meals to patients, cleaning duties in both clinical and non clinical areas (further duties outlined in the job description).
The shifts include working weekends and bank holidays on a seven week rota
Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.
We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.

Delivery of post to all departments
Cleaning of clinical and non clinical areas.
Collection/delivery of linen and laundry
Collection of Samples
Locking/unlocking of the buildings
