Our friendly Estates and Facilities Team in the Thanet Mental Health Unit are seeking a Hotel Services Operative,apply now and kickstart your career in the NHS. Contract: 6 months fixed term – could lead to permanent contract for the right candidate Thanet Mental Health Unit is a Mental Health Site consisting of 2 Older Adult wards and a Community Team and A&E Liaison Team. Thanet Mental Health Unit also has various buildings with offices, clinics and a training room. The working environment will -include inpatient ward areas with administration buildings, you will be expected to liaise with all teams across the site and The General public and contractors when coming to site. Contact with service users will occur on a daily basis when visiting all areas of the site. Full induction and training will be given to the successful applicant. Maintain a patient focussed Hotel Services function across clinical and non-clinical areas. Ensure standards within the designated areas meet the national cleaning standards across the site for the trust. Report any issues to Site Supervisor or Facilities Manager. To undertake a range of duties associated with the upkeep of the clinical environment to meet the requirements of the Trust and the National specification from cleanliness in the NHS The expectation of the role is that you would be working cleaning and maintaining standards of cleanliness on inpatient wards making sure they meet the required NHS standards working alongside clinical staff to achieve a healthy and safe environment for our clients.
