ASG are looking for exceptional security professionals with excellent customer service and immaculate presentation to work at London’s most prestigious 5-star hotel. The hotel is in the heart of London.
ASG are currently recruiting officers to work within the hotel. We are therefore interested in hearing from people with previous experience of working in a similar environment. You must have the ability and be willing to adapt to an evolving working environment.
Pay Rate:
£11.00 to £12.00
Shift Pattern:
4 on 4 off
12-hour shift

Shift Times: 07:00 to 19:00 / 19:00 to 07:00
Day & Night shifts available
Hyde Park Corner

Minimum Requirements:
- 1 Years’ experience security for 5* Hotels & Luxury industries
- A valid DS licence.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Professional & Personable.
- Immaculate presentation.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- 5-Year employment / educational history.
Preferred Requirements (not essential):
- Proven experience in Front of House & Customer service.
- Bilingual (not essential)
- Emergency First Aid Certificate.
- ACT training Certificate.
- Conflict management training.
- Be able to use two-way radio’s
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Monitor and control entrances.
- Providing security presence for the hotel in line with the hotel’s t&c’s and licencing act.
- Patrol the hotel on a regular basis ensuring fire walks take place and are recorded.
- Support evacuations of the hotel during fire alarm situations.
- Manage undesirable behaviour in a professional manner, intervening and defusing potential altercations.
- Collecting & recording all deliveries to the building and hand them over to the relevant departments if hotel does not have a loading bay.
- Monitoring suspicious behaviour / packages and be aware of any bomb and terror threat procedures.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations.
- Respond to accidents and assist guest and drivers / employees during emergency situations / evacuations.
- Defuse guests’ disturbance and escort them off the property if necessary.
- Maintaining systems that monitor contractors working in and around the hotel according to the company health and safety policies.
- Maintaining systems that record the issues and receipts of department keys, items loaned out to members of staff.
- Maintaining the security logbook and incident reports.
- Conduct investigations, gathering evidence, bag searches following a report of misconduct, discrepancies, or violations immediately.
- Assist staff investigating and report of any allegations of theft, criminal damage, and other incidents to supervisor at the hotel and to your operations manager.
- Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all loss prevention documents.
- Liaise with Police and Operations manager in absence of Security Team Leader.

Training provided
As a member of the security team, you will be required to undertake SIA licence training and vetting to BS7858.
