Due to growth we are currently recruiting for a number of receptionists for Shipquay Hotel.
You will be part of a multi-award winning team
Previous experience as a hotel receptionist is desired but not essential.
Please note; this job will include some weekend work as the shifts are rotated fairly amongst the team. If this is not possible please do not apply.
As part of the front office your department is the first and last impression that a guest has of the hotel, so it's your job to ensure it's a superb one. Top of the list of responsibilities is to make sure you're well trained, friendly and offer a warm welcome and speedy, efficient check-in and check-out service for guests
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring the front desk provides a professional and friendly service for customers
- Dealing with customers
- Working directly with management to ensure rooms are allocated appropriately
- Adjusting room packages and deals on hotel software and selling channels
- Liaising with other departments
- Report to Front Office Manager
Desirable Experience/Qualifications 3rd level qualification (desirable) * Good telephone skills * Diplomacy and communication skills to handle any complaints and emergencies in a level-headed manner

- Hotel software experience
