Job description
We are looking to recruit full time and part time receptionists to join our team at Netley Hall.
You will need to be multi-skilled within all areas of the hotel, being the first point of contact for all guests and must ensure they are greeted or acknowledged when entering the hotel. You must have an excellent telephone manner, customer service skills, and have the ability to deal with all guest enquiries.
Shifts are 12 hours between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00.
Weekend availability is essential.
The successful candidate must have previous experience within a similar role and be able to work on their own initiative. You will need to have the ability to deal with the unexpected and possess the following skills:
- Positive can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of standard hotel procedures such as check-ins, check-outs, reservations, dealing with money etc.
- Good IT skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Current / previous working experience as a Receptionist / Host within the hospitality and catering industry
- Ability to deal with issues/complaints that may arise
- Customer service experience is essential
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Answering phone calls and taking bookings
- Responding to emails
- Ensuring a positive customer experience to guests in the hotel
- Keeping the hotel and reception secure and monitored at all times
- Cleaning the reception and bar area
- Liaising with night cleaning team
